Xpeng G6 confirmed for the UK: prices, trims, 800-volt charging

Xpeng has confirmed prices and trims for the updated G6 electric crossover in the UK. Sales are scheduled for the first quarter of 2026, with the base version starting at £39,990. Three variants will be offered at launch, topping out at £49,990, and for the first time in the market there will be a showcase AWD Performance Black Edition.

The lineup is as follows: G6 RWD Standard Range — £39,990; G6 RWD Long Range — £44,990; and G6 AWD Performance Black Edition — £49,990. The range-topping Black Edition pairs two motors for a combined 358 kW and 660 Nm, with a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 4.1 seconds. It also stands out with 20-inch black wheels, darker exterior detailing, black brake calipers, and a sport-themed interior finished in a deeper shade.

The standout upgrade is a next-generation 800-volt architecture paired with a battery that supports 5C ultra-fast charging. Xpeng quotes peak DC charging power of up to 451 kW and says going from 10% to 80% takes just 12 minutes. In a market where charging speed increasingly influences the shortlist, that’s a persuasive advantage.

Beyond the hardware, the G6 brings design and cabin updates, and a heat pump is now standard across all versions — a deliberate move to sharpen the value proposition in the fast-growing midsize electric SUV class. It helps the package read as more complete without inflating the spec sheet with fluff.
