2026 Hyundai i20 and Bayon UK: updated trims, pricing and tech

Hyundai Motor UK has released updated trim levels and pricing for the i20 and Bayon in the UK. Both are part of the brand’s 2026 model-year range and are already available to order. The Hyundai i20 starts at £19,995, while the Bayon is priced from £23,795.

For 2026, the Hyundai i20 comes in three trims: Element, Black Line, and Tech Line. The base car is powered by a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 90 hp and a six-speed manual gearbox; a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is optional. Black Line stands out with dark exterior details, while Tech Line sits at the top and combines equipment from the previous higher-spec variants. An additional Tech Pack can be specified for it. The lineup reads clean and sensible for the UK market, making the choice straightforward.

The 2026 Hyundai Bayon is offered as Black Line and Tech Line, using the same 90 hp 1.0 T-GDi engine. Driver-assistance systems are standard from the outset, including lane keeping and automatic emergency braking. The higher trim adds 17-inch wheels, wireless charging, and climate control, while an optional pack brings a Bose audio system and a panoramic roof. Specified this way, the small crossover comes across as well thought-out, with safety tech included even on the entry version.
