Tesla’s supervised FSD could arrive in the UAE by January

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the company’s supervised Full Self-Driving system could roll out in the United Arab Emirates as early as January next year.

In its supervised form, FSD would enable hands-off highway driving, city navigation, and parking assistance under driver oversight in densely populated hubs such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The system has drawn strong attention from international media. Germany’s Auto Bild rated the technology highly after trials in Berlin’s demanding urban environment. The demonstration showed the system handling heavy traffic, construction zones, crosswalks, and narrow streets, while making measured, confident decisions.

If the UAE timeline holds, it would emphasize Tesla’s intent to apply supervised autonomy in complex city settings—an approach that, judging by the Berlin trial, the system seems ready to take on.
