New spy shots reveal 2026 FIAT Fastback design and tech
FIAT is continuing road tests of the 2026 Fastback. Fresh spy photos provide a clearer look at the rear end, previously hidden under heavy camouflage. Even with the wrap, the main body lines and the shape of the rear window are now easy to read.
The glasshouse is noticeably raked, and there appears to be a small spoiler along the tailgate edge. It remains unclear whether this piece is destined for production or simply part of the disguise. Also visible are taillights with a three-segment LED signature, which, according to preliminary information, will echo the design of the front lighting. The pronounced rake lends the silhouette a taut, sportier stance, while the segmented light motif looks clean and distinctive.
The 2026 FIAT Fastback is built on Stellantis’ Smart Car platform. The model will be larger than the Grande Panda; unofficially, its length is around 4.4 meters. Earlier spy shots captured a cabin that differs from other FIATs, with expectations of a compact digital instrument cluster and a large central infotainment screen. In this configuration, the interior comes across as tech-forward without feeling overcomplicated.
The powertrain lineup will include both hybrid and fully electric versions. It is expected to feature a roughly 145-hp PureTech mild-hybrid and a 113-hp electric motor. Taken together, these elements set up the Fastback as one of FIAT’s headline premieres and among 2026’s most notable new arrivals.
