Mercedes-Benz Vision Iconic concept debuts alongside GLB EQ, GLC EQ and CLA Break EQ
Among Mercedes-Benz’s headline premieres is the Vision Iconic concept, a signpost for the brand’s next design chapter. This one-off prototype is intended to weave the company’s rich heritage together with modern technology and contemporary aesthetics, coming across as a confident, measured statement of intent.
One signature element is the distinctive front end with a grille shaped by legends of the last century, including the W108 sedans, the elegant W111 coupes, and the lavish 600 Pullman limousine. Those models stood for German quality and luxury, and the design team has revived their hallmark cues to craft a look that is stylish yet instantly recognizable for a new generation.
Alongside the premium Vision Iconic, Mercedes-Benz will also unveil refreshed electric versions of three well-known series:
- GLB EQ — a compact crossover with enhanced capability that blends the comfort and practicality of a city car with the dynamic character of an electric vehicle.
- GLC EQ — a midsize premium SUV that balances power, everyday usability, and environmental responsibility thanks to its electric powertrain.
- CLA Break EQ — a sporty wagon aimed at fans of an active lifestyle and family travel, offering a high level of comfort and impressive performance even on long journeys.
These models arrive in new electric iterations, underscoring Mercedes-Benz’s focus on sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint of its lineup. Together with the Vision Iconic, they suggest a cohesive trajectory: heritage made current, with purpose.
