2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee gets 2.0-liter Hurricane turbo, updated styling and a 12.3-inch screen
Although the 2026 Grand Cherokee keeps its familiar look, the most significant change hides under the hood.
Jeep now offers the model with an all-new 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four from the Hurricane engine family. The setup delivers 324 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, surpassing the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 rated at 293 horsepower. On paper, the turbo-four promises a livelier response while using less displacement, a move that suits the Grand Cherokee’s character.
Beyond the mechanical upgrade, the front bumper and grille have been reworked, giving the SUV a fresher, more contemporary face. Inside, the infotainment touchscreen grows to a substantial 12.3 inches, a change that improves ergonomics and makes everyday interactions with the tech feel more natural.
Pricing for the updated Grand Cherokee starts at $38,735 for the base Laredo with the traditional powertrain. The version with the new Hurricane engine begins at $44,140, positioning it as the choice for buyers who want stronger performance alongside comfort.
