Aston Martin Vanquish 2027: 2+2 rear seats and expanded personalization

Aston Martin has decided to cater to its most demanding buyers by adding an unexpected feature to the new Vanquish: two rear seats. This formal tweak turns the supercar into a 2+2 without materially affecting performance, while broadening the canvas for personalization.

Distinctive, yet barely practical

Instead of a conventional bench behind the front seats, there are now two individual chairs. They’re trimmed in premium leather and look suitably opulent, yet an adult will realistically occupy just one spot, stretching their legs across the other. In real use, the Vanquish remains effectively a three-seater, with the rear row more likely to host designer luggage than people. Still, the request was heard—very much in the spirit of Bentley and Mercedes, which often indulge owners’ whims.

The 2027 model year brings expanded trim packages: combinations of black gloss and carbon fiber, darkened decorative elements, and side sills in painted carbon. Color choices include red, jade, and Racing Green, available in matte or gloss. Carbon elements require a protective clear coat.

The wheels are new 21-inch rims, either multi-spoke or straight-radial, with a liquid silver finish. The Volante version can be specified with a fabric top in gray or beige.

The Vanquish remains every inch a supercar, now offered in a more “utilitarian” setup—mostly in a cosmetic sense. The move shows Aston Martin is willing to tailor even its flagship models to client tastes while keeping the brand’s DNA and a clear focus on luxury.
