Seat and Cupra set new delivery records in 2025, led by electric vehicle surge

Seat S.A., the parent company of the Seat and Cupra brands, has wrapped up 2025 with record-breaking delivery figures. Over the past 12 months, the company shipped 586.3 thousand vehicles, marking a 5.1% increase compared to 2024 and surpassing the previous high set in 2019.

Cupra celebrated a significant milestone by selling its millionth car since the brand's inception. In 2025, Cupra delivered 328.8 thousand units, a sharp 32.5% rise from the previous year. Meanwhile, Seat, which commemorated its 75th anniversary, saw deliveries drop to 257.4 thousand cars, a 17% decline, attributing this to broader industry challenges.

Electrified models at Seat S.A. showed impressive growth, with plug-in hybrid deliveries hitting 84.4 thousand, up 69.2%, and fully electric vehicles reaching 79.7 thousand, a 65.9% increase.

Germany remained the largest market for both Seat and Cupra, with 156.2 thousand deliveries, an 8.2% boost. Spain followed with 92.7 thousand, up 6.8%, while the UK saw 64.3 thousand, down 4.3%, France had 38.9 thousand, a 3.7% decrease, and Italy recorded 30.2 thousand, a 4.9% rise.

For Cupra, electric vehicles now account for 24.2% of sales, led by the Born model with 43.7 thousand units and the Tavascan with 36 thousand. Seat, however, does not currently offer any electric models.
