2025 Chevrolet Corvette named among most reliable sports cars

The new Chevrolet Corvette has once again shown it’s not just quick but also dependable. According to SPEEDME.RU, which cites a Consumer Reports study, the 2025 model ranks among the most reliable sports cars globally, edging out many rivals including the Porsche 718 Boxster and Nissan Z.

Experts noted that the Corvette’s powertrain, suspension, and electronics showed exceptional stability. The C8 posted reliability results higher than several mainstream models, including the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord—an outcome that stands out in this segment.

Some owners reported minor issues: the climate control system, the brakes on the 2023 version, and the removable roof on the 2024 Corvette. Even so, the C8 averaged no more than two recalls per year, a standout result for a V8-powered sports car.

The C8’s platform—combining a mid-engine layout with improved dynamics—has not only reshaped the brand’s image but also turned the Corvette into a byword for durability. For the first time in a long while, an American supercar is competing confidently with European marques not just on the track, but in longevity too—quiet proof that the mid-engine rethink has paid off.
