Mahindra reports 4,653 vehicle sales in Australia in 2025, XUV700 top model

Indian automaker Mahindra reported selling 4,653 vehicles in Australia from January 1 to December 31, 2025, marking an 11.6% increase over the 4,170 units sold in 2024.

In 2025, the Mahindra XUV700 emerged as the brand's best-selling model in Australia, though specific sales figures for this model were not disclosed.

During that year, Mahindra's sales outperformed those of Renault, Jeep, Peugeot, and Fiat in the Australian market.

Looking ahead to 2026, Mahindra anticipates further growth in Australia, driven by models like the XUV 3XO and XUV 700, along with the return of the Scorpio. Sales of the Scorpio had been paused because it lacked the autonomous emergency braking system, which became mandatory from March 2025.
