2020 Honda Civic holds value with low depreciation over five years

According to analysts, the 2020 Honda Civic shows only modest depreciation over five years of ownership. This reflects the model's strong reliability and low depreciation rate.

The base Honda Civic LX sedan loses an average of 24% of its original value after five years. With an initial price of $21,755, this means it typically drops to around $16,521.

Other Civic variants also hold their value well. The flagship Type R retains nearly all its original price, losing only about 15% over the same period.

Among its rivals, the Honda Civic stands out for the best resale value. It outperforms other popular models in the segment, including the Toyota Corolla and Hyundai Veloster N.
