GM launches first combined Cadillac and GMC showroom in South Korea

General Motors has opened its first combined Cadillac and GMC showroom in South Korea. The Cadillac GMC Songpa dealership is located in Seoul's Songpa-gu district, the capital's most populous area.

Alongside the launch, GM Korea introduced a new Premium Channel sales strategy aimed at promoting the company's most expensive models in the domestic market. GM Korea President Hector Villarreal noted that the showroom opening should strengthen the premium channel and introduce new Cadillac and GMC models planned for release this year. The company also highlighted a 23% year-over-year sales growth for Cadillac in 2025.

The showroom is designed in Cadillac's signature style, with a separate zone featuring GMC's red logo. As the first Premium Channel location, the center combines sales and service, offering customers consultations, purchases, and on-site maintenance and repairs.

The new strategy involves relaunching GMC in Korea with the 2026 Hummer EV lineup and further expanding Cadillac's electric vehicle presence. GM plans to open new dealerships in Seoul and Busan, with existing locations transitioning to the Premium Channel system by the end of the month.
