British tuning house Talos has taken the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and turned it into the 911 RT, a carbon-fiber version for those who find the standard GT3 RS too common. Production is limited to 20 units, and the price of the tuning package sounds almost absurd at £850,000 (over €980,000). That figure does not include the car itself.

The base remains the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, but the body gets extensive changes. Talos uses 3D scanning and new panels made from exposed carbon fiber, developed in collaboration with MCT Carbon. The design takes inspiration from the racing 911 R, and the dry carbon is left on display. Buyers who prefer a less technical look can opt for paint.

The main point of the conversion isn't just the visual impact. Thanks to the carbon parts, the 911 RT is about 80 kg lighter than a standard GT3 RS. For a car where every kilogram influences response, braking, and balance, this matters far more than decorative trim. A more aggressive aerodynamic package is also available.

The interior is tailored individually to each owner. Clients choose materials, colors, and trim details so the cabin doesn't simply look like a standard Porsche with a new badge. Suspension development was handled with Öhlins, promising a balance between road comfort and handling precision. Optionally, electronically adjustable dampers with smartphone control are available.

The engine stays naturally aspirated. Talos quotes 540 hp and a natural, linear power delivery. Turbocharging isn't part of the core concept, but the company offers additional upgrades including an exhaust system, new mirrors, and other options.

The price remains the biggest shock. £850,000—roughly $1.15 million—just for the conversion. And you still need to buy and supply Talos with a 911 GT3 RS separately. That easily pushes the total into hypercar territory.

The Talos 911 RT doesn't try to be a rational upgrade. It's for those who already own one of the best track Porsches but want even a standard GT3 RS to look almost like a production car next to it.
