Tesla finally pulled the trigger. In Spain, the Model Y is now officially available with seven seats — a configuration European families have been waiting on for years. The option is locked to the top-spec Premium Long Range AWD. The third row adds 2,500 euros to the bill, pushing the final price to 56,470 euros.
From the outside, nothing gives it away: the length stays at 4.79 m. All the changes are hidden inside, at the rear of the cabin. Tesla isn’t pretending otherwise — the third row is for occasional trips, mostly with kids or short distances.
Space back there is genuinely tight. According to the manufacturer, legroom drops to 0.656 m versus 1.045 m in the second row. Headroom measures 0.879 m versus 0.984 m. And to climb in, the second row has to partially fold forward.
What about the boot? With all seven seats up, you still get 370 litres. Fold the third row and the volume jumps to 766 litres — against 822 litres in the five-seat version. Add 116 more litres up front. Among family SUVs, the Model Y is betting on one thing: a modular cabin and serious luggage capacity.
