Peugeot has refreshed its Spanish bestseller: the 2008 crossover now comes in a new Edition trim, developed with a clear focus on value-for-money equipment. It’s a timely move for the brand, as the 2008 remains Peugeot’s top seller in Spain and holds a place in the country’s top 10 new cars of 2025, while the SEAT Arona keeps the pressure high in this segment.

The Edition slots between the entry-level Style and the pricier Allure/GT grades, bundling what urban buyers now expect: a broad suite of safety tech, a large-screen infotainment system with smartphone integration, climate control, parking sensors and driver-assistance features. The spec neatly bridges the gap between basic and premium trims, which is exactly where many city-focused buyers like to land.

Under the skin, the Edition is offered exclusively with 48V MHEV setups built around a 1.2-liter turbo engine and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, sending drive to the front wheels. The entry configuration produces 110 hp and 205 Nm, with 0–100 km/h in 10.4 seconds. The 145 hp, 230 Nm alternative trims that to 8.3 seconds. The MHEV system also secures the ECO environmental label and the related benefits for access and movement in urban areas, which suits the model’s city brief.

In Spain, prices start at 29,376 euros for the Hybrid 110 and 30,376 euros for the Hybrid 145, before any potential dealer discounts or promotions.
