The Geely Galaxy Xingyuan electric car was China's top-selling electric vehicle in 2025, with 465,775 units sold nationwide. This secured it the number one spot in the annual rankings. For comparison, the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV finished second, with 435,599 cars sold.
The Geely Galaxy Xingyuan is an affordable city EV measuring 4.14 meters long, 1.81 meters wide, and 1.57 meters tall, with a wheelbase of 2.65 meters. In China, the model starts at 68,800 yuan (around 8,500 euros) for a version with a 310 km CLTC range (approximately 270 km WLTP). A longer-range variant offers 410 km CLTC (about 360 km WLTP) and starts at 81,800 yuan (around 10,100 euros).
Originally sold under the Geometry brand, the model moved to the Galaxy lineup following a reorganization within the Geely group. Against this backdrop, with news of Geely launching sales in Spain, there is discussion about the potential for the Xingyuan to enter the European market.
