Interest in the Ford Taurus has grown significantly in recent years, and now a truly unusual example is entering the collector car market. A 2013 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor with just 21,000 miles on the clock has appeared on Bring a Trailer, making it a rarity even among service vehicles.

This car began its service in California before seeing duty in Arizona and Texas, yet it remains in remarkably tidy condition. The body is finished in black and features police-specific equipment, including a Setina push bumper with fender flares and integrated lighting, Hella daytime running lights, Whelen LED rotating lights, a Yakima roof basket, and dual exhaust tips.

The sedan rides on 18-inch steel wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires and comes with disc brakes at all four corners. Inside, you'll find the practical, no-frills interior typical of service vehicles: cloth front seats, vinyl rear seating, rubber floor mats, and additional switches.

Other features include air conditioning, a rearview camera mirror, power windows, and a standard audio system with a CD player. For added protection, the front doors are fitted with ballistic panels.
