Mansory's aggressive tuning for electric Mercedes G 580 revealed
Discover Mansory's provocative tuning of the electric Mercedes G 580, featuring matte black body, orange interior, and unchanged 580 hp specs. Learn about its visual impact and pricing.
You might expect the electric Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ Technology to escape extravagant tuning, but Mansory has proven otherwise. The German atelier has unveiled one of the most provocative projects based on the new electric G-Class, focusing on aggressive styling and maximum visual impact.
The SUV's body is finished in matte black, which partially conceals the extent of the modifications. The vehicle features widened wheel arches, redesigned bumpers, new side sills, and a hood from Mansory's signature arsenal.
At the front, there are additional daytime running lights, a massive splitter with side blades, and a new radiator grille bearing the tuner's logo. Additional LED blocks are mounted above the windshield, while the rear sports a spoiler and an aggressive diffuser with eight vertical elements. The interior looks equally radical.

The cabin is almost entirely upholstered in bright orange leather, covering the seats, door panels, dashboard, and center console. Forged carbon elements and Mansory's signature accents are used in the trim, creating a sharp contrast with the exterior's stern body lines.
The technical specifications remain unchanged. The Mercedes G 580 is equipped with four electric motors delivering a combined 580 horsepower and 1,164 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, offers a WLTP range of up to 470 km, and features a 116 kWh battery supporting charging up to 200 kW.
In the U.S., the base model starts at around $161,500, excluding Mansory's modifications. This project clearly shows that even premium electric vehicles are becoming targets for showy tuning, where visual flamboyance often outweighs the core idea of sustainability.
