Tesla gets approval to test FSD Supervised system in Sweden
Tesla has received authorization to test its FSD Supervised system across Sweden's road network, aiming to enhance safety and reduce emissions in urban areas.
Tesla has confirmed receiving approval to test its FSD Supervised system in Sweden. The authorization covers the entire road network under the Swedish Transport Administration, including urban and intercity roads within the municipality of Nacka.
With this testing permit, Tesla can now evaluate the system's performance across diverse conditions, from densely populated urban areas to Sweden's high-speed highways.
Tesla emphasized that advancing driver assistance systems is expected to enhance road safety, accessibility, and emission reduction, particularly in crowded city centers.
The FSD Supervised system is already available to drivers in several global markets, including Australia, Canada, China, Mexico, New Zealand, and the United States. It can handle urban and highway driving tasks like steering, acceleration, braking, and lane changes, though drivers must remain attentive and ready to take control.
