BMW confirms lineup for 2026 Paris Motor Show
BMW will showcase new models like the i3, 7 Series facelift, and iX5 at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, with updates across its range. Learn more about the premieres.
BMW has officially confirmed its participation in the 2026 Paris Motor Show, one of the few traditional auto shows that continues to hold significant weight. The event will take place from October 12-18 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, bringing together BMW, MINI, and the Motorrad division under one roof. Rolls-Royce traditionally skips such events, while ALPINA—now a standalone brand—will be considered separately.
Although the company hasn't revealed its lineup of premieres, its overall product strategy offers clues about key models. In 2026, the new i3 (NA0) generation will launch as the production version of the Vision Neue Klasse. Its debut is expected earlier, but Paris will serve as one of the first major international stages where the sedan is shown to a broad audience. The new 3 Series (G50) should follow shortly after.
In the luxury segment, BMW is preparing a facelift for the 7 Series (G70). 2026 could also mark the return of the ALPINA B7—now under the new G72 designation, featuring six-cylinder and V8 engines, along with a first fully electric variant.
The SUV lineup is getting updates too: development of the fifth-generation X5 (G65) is complete, and alongside it will come the electric iX5. On the performance side, BMW M's program includes a new Track Package for the M2 and a possible expansion of the range with an xDrive version.
The Paris Motor Show alternates with IAA Mobility, where the iX3 was unveiled in fall 2025. A year earlier in Paris, the Vision Neue Klasse and Neue Klasse X concepts debuted—now their production versions are nearing the finish line. All this makes the exhibition one of the most packed for BMW in recent years.
