The Spanish brand EBRO continues its rapid revival with a key strategic move: officially entering the Portuguese market. The company has signed a strategic agreement with Grupo MCoutinho, one of the country's largest automotive distributors. This partner will become the brand's official representative, handling import, sales, service, and logistics. By the end of the year, EBRO plans to open ten sales points where its entire SUV lineup—from the compact S400 to the flagship S900—will be available.

This expansion into Portugal is part of a broader European growth plan, backed by the brand's impressive performance in Spain. In 2025, EBRO sold 12,459 vehicles, securing a spot in the national top 25. The S700 emerged as the most popular model, with 6,524 registrations. With interest in the brand on the rise, the company is capitalizing on this momentum to strengthen its position beyond its domestic market.

The signing of this agreement is also expected to benefit the EBRO Factory in the Franca Barcelona zone. Production capacity will increase, as all models for the European market are assembled there. In the near future, the plant will expand its operations by adding painting and welding processes, creating a foundation for further growth.

For EBRO, entering Portugal is more than just a new territory; it's a significant step toward reclaiming its status as a notable player in the European automotive landscape.
