A new innovation is designed to prevent complete battery discharge in parked vehicles. This system continuously monitors battery charge levels when the car is stationary, automatically taking measures to conserve energy and prevent unwanted power loss. The system's key feature is its ability to intelligently manage the vehicle's energy consumption. It can detect critically low battery charge and respond quickly in one of two ways: either by selectively turning off the most power-hungry components and devices, or, as a last resort, by completely cutting power to the vehicle and entering a deep sleep state to avoid deep battery discharge. This development represents an advancement of an existing Ford technology—the Battery Saver Mode previously implemented in some of the brand's models. The new approach significantly improves battery protection efficiency, extending battery lifespan and giving car owners confidence in their vehicle's reliability even after extended periods of parking.
