Ford Tourneo Connect PHEV now available in the Netherlands
Ford introduces the Tourneo Connect plug-in hybrid in the Netherlands, featuring 150 hp, 110 km electric range, fast charging, and prices from €38,000.
Ford has decided to launch the Tourneo Connect PHEV in the Netherlands market. Initially, the model wasn't planned for sale in the country, but after a strategy review, the plug-in hybrid version will indeed become available.
The Tourneo Connect PHEV is a passenger variant of the Transit Connect, built on the Volkswagen Caddy platform. Its powertrain combines a gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a total output of 150 horsepower. It's paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. The electric-only range reaches up to 110 km, and it supports fast charging at up to 50 kW.
The model will be offered in Trend and Titanium trim levels, with two body length options. The base version is priced at around €38,000, while the more equipped Titanium costs approximately €40,000. The extended Grand version, featuring a seven-seat interior, comes at a premium of about €2,900 more.
This new addition expands Ford's lineup in the family vehicle segment, offering a practical body style and hybrid technology for daily commuting needs.
