Kia Australia has announced pricing for the updated three-row Kia EV9 crossover for the 2026 model year and introduced the new flagship EV9 GT variant. Sales will begin before the end of the month, with the lineup comprising four trim levels: Air, Earth, GT-Line, and GT.

The base EV9 Air features rear-wheel drive, a single electric motor, and a 76.1 kWh battery. Its WLTP range reaches up to 443 km, with pricing starting from 97,000 Australian dollars. The Earth AWD, GT-Line, and GT versions use a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup and a 99.8 kWh battery. The Earth AWD offers a maximum range of 521 km, starting at 106,500 AUD. The GT-Line provides 505 km of range for 121,000 AUD.

The new EV9 GT produces 374 kW (501 hp) and 740 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. DC fast charging from 10 to 80% takes about 24 minutes. This model features an electronically controlled suspension and chassis tuning adapted for Australian conditions.
Visually, the GT stands out with 21-inch black wheels, a digital LED grille with Star Map lighting, and unique interior trim that includes second-row seats with a relaxation function.
