Yijing Motors released its first operational report for 2026 on February 15, outlining key development milestones for its inaugural model and detailing its growth strategy. The company confirmed that the vehicle will make its global debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2026.

The Qijing brand was officially launched in November 2025 at the Huawei Qiankun Ecosystem conference. By December, the first engineering batch had rolled off the production line, and in January 2026, the car underwent extreme winter testing in Mohe and Hulunbuir to evaluate chassis and powertrain performance under harsh cold conditions.

Notably, the collaboration with Huawei Qiankun is a focal point. This partnership is described as strategic and one of the deepest within the Huawei ecosystem. Yijing gains access to a full suite of intelligent solutions, including the Qiankun Smart Driving autonomous system, the Hongmeng cockpit, cloud services, and intelligent lighting management.

Beyond that, Huawei is involved in product shaping, interior design, and quality control. Yijing has also adopted Huawei's quality standards across all stages, from development to production. In terms of product strategy, the brand plans to launch one new vehicle annually, expanding its lineup to cater to family usage scenarios.

The service network already covers 79 cities, with plans to increase contact points to 300 by year-end. Sales will follow a "1+N" model, combining user centers with Huawei stores to ensure broad accessibility.

Yijing is betting on a rapid start through deep integration with Huawei, which shortens the path to technological maturity. If the first product proves competitive in price and features, the brand could quickly carve out a niche in the smart family car segment.
