Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) system is now available in the United States exclusively through a subscription model, currently priced at $99 per month.

While Tesla has delayed implementing this change in other countries, the new policy took effect in the U.S. on Sunday morning, February 15.

Back in January, Elon Musk announced that Tesla would stop selling the FSD package for a one-time fee of $8,000. This package would have provided the vehicle with the full suite of autonomous driving features for its entire lifespan, but Tesla has decided to abandon that approach.

In response, many owners and fans of the company are urging Tesla to consider alternative pricing strategies. Suggestions include a tiered system that would allow owners to select specific features at different price points, or even a flexible structure with daily, weekly, monthly, and annual rates to encourage long-term commitments.
