Jaecoo is launching a new flagship model, the 8 SHS, a plug-in hybrid targeting the European market. At 4.82 meters long, it features a spacious cabin with five- or seven-seat configurations, a dual 12.3-inch screen interior, and a trunk ranging from 200 to 738 liters, expanding to 2,021 liters in two-seat mode. The electronics are powered by a Qualcomm 8155 processor and include an AR head-up display, 360-degree cameras, a premium Sony audio system, and a 50W smartphone wireless charger with cooling.

The powertrain combines a 1.5T GDI gasoline engine, three electric motors, and a 3DHT transmission. With a 34.46 kWh CATL battery, it offers 134 km of WLTP range, positioning it as a leader in the PHEV segment. All-wheel drive is achieved via a separate rear motor producing 238 horsepower. Charging options include 6.6 kW AC and up to 70 kW DC, allowing a 30% to 80% recharge in 25 minutes. Paired with a 70-liter fuel tank, the total range exceeds 1,000 km.
