In October, Skoda claimed the top spot on Germany’s electric-car market for the first time this year. The Elroq finished as the month’s best seller, recording 3,320 registrations and a 6.3% share.

Close behind were Volkswagen’s ID.7 with 3,193 units and the ID.3 with 3,074. Skoda’s Enyaq took fourth at 2,586, while the VW ID.4 and ID.5 together rounded out the top five with 2,522 registrations.

Tesla, meanwhile, posted its weakest result in three years and did not reach the top ten. The BMW iX1 and Cupra Tavascan settled into mid-ranking positions.

The month’s leaderboard tells its own story: momentum can shift quickly when a fresh model strikes a chord, and the Elroq’s run shows Skoda is getting harder to overlook in Germany’s EV landscape.
