The joint brand AUDI, established by Audi and SAIC Motor for the Chinese market, has announced a temporary price reduction for the E5 Sportback electric fastback. The discount amounts to 30,000 yuan, roughly equivalent to 330,000 rubles.

As part of the promotion, which runs until March 31, the starting price of the base version has been lowered to 205,900 yuan. The top-tier variant is available for around 290,000 yuan. In parallel, a sales incentive program has been launched: buyers can opt for a five-year installment plan at 0% interest or a seven-year loan with a reduced rate. If financial tools are chosen, the discount decreases to 10,000 yuan.

Demand for the model has fallen short of expectations. Total deliveries have reached 7,070 vehicles, with only 420 cars sold in January, despite over 10,000 pre-orders in the first 30 minutes after sales began.

Measuring 4,881 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm, the E5 Sportback is offered in four versions, with power ranging from 299 to 787 hp, featuring rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The CLTC cycle range varies from 618 to 773 km. With the promotion, the model's price is now comparable to the Zeekr 007 GT and slightly cheaper than the Xiaomi SU7.
