Final orders for the gasoline-powered 2026 Chevrolet Blazer in the North American market must be placed by July 20, 2026. The last 2026 model will roll off the General Motors assembly line in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, on September 25, 2026.
The 2026 Chevrolet Blazer starts at $36,095 for the front-wheel-drive 2LT trim. The 3LT version begins at $41,495, while the top-tier RS model is priced from $45,395. Adding all-wheel drive increases the cost by $2,700 to $2,900, depending on the vehicle's equipment level.
Under the hood, the RS version now comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter internal combustion engine producing 228 horsepower. Buyers can also opt for a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter engine with 308 horsepower. Both engines are paired with GM's nine-speed automatic transmission (9TXx).
Looking ahead, the 2027 model year Blazer is expected to be nearly identical to the 2026 version, with changes limited to new exterior colors and minor option adjustments. Production of the gasoline Blazer is scheduled to end in the first half of 2027 at the Ramos Arizpe plant, after which assembly will shift to GM's facility in Spring Hill, USA.
More significant updates are anticipated for the Chevrolet Blazer in 2028, which could involve either a full generational change or a comprehensive redesign.
