According to a published report, the average price of new cars from Russian manufacturers fell below 2 million rubles in the last winter month of 2026, reaching 1.99 million. Meanwhile, the average price for new Chinese-brand cars officially available on the market remained unchanged at 3.94 million rubles.

Since the start of the year, the supply of Russian-brand cars has increased by 7%, while Chinese-brand supply grew by just 1%.

The most significant average price drops in February were recorded for the Lada Aura (down 4% to 2.44 million rubles), the Zeekr 9X (down 3% to 13.11 million rubles), and the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max (down 3% to 2.96 million rubles).

Price declines were also observed in more than 10 regions. The sharpest drop occurred in Saratov Oblast (down 10% to 3.03 million rubles), followed by Voronezh Oblast (down 6% to 2.9 million rubles) and Nizhny Novgorod Oblast (down 5% to 2.49 million rubles).

However, some regions saw average new car prices rise. The largest increase was in Tver Oblast (up 5.3% to 2.26 million rubles), Krasnodar Krai (up 4.6% to 2.77 million rubles), and Yaroslavl Oblast (up 3.5% to 1.87 million rubles).
