Suzuki has unveiled the updated 2026 model year version of its compact Jimny SUV. The vehicle is already available for purchase in the Australian market with fixed drive-away prices, excluding some regions.

The three-door Suzuki Jimny is offered in two trim levels: Lite and Jimny. The base Lite version with a manual transmission starts at $31,990 excluding on-road costs, or $36,490 drive-away. The more equipped Jimny trim with a manual transmission is priced from $33,990, while the automatic version starts at $36,490.

The updated model features an expanded equipment list. Key additions include a multimedia system with a 7-inch screen in the Lite version and a 9-inch display in the higher trim. Both versions support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SUV also gains new safety systems: adaptive cruise control, the Dual Sensor Brake Support II automatic braking system, a lane-keeping assist, and front and rear parking sensors.

Despite a 27.5% sales decline in 2025 due to supply constraints, the model remains the brand's most popular in the local market. The updated Jimny continues to be a notable player in the compact SUV segment and ranks among the top SUVs for 2026, thanks to its off-road capability and compact dimensions.
