Genesis is launching the Electrified G80 electric sedan in the European market, positioning it as a competitor to the BMW i5 and Audi A6 e-tron. The model starts at 74,200 euros in the Netherlands.
Based on the same business sedan platform as its internal combustion engine counterpart, the Electrified G80 features a fully electric powertrain. It measures 5.14 meters in length with a wheelbase of 3.14 meters.
Equipped with a 94.5 kWh battery, the car offers a range of up to 570 km and supports fast charging at up to 350 kW. Its electric motors produce 370 horsepower, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 225 km/h.
Inside, a large 27-inch display underscores the model's premium status.
As the only sedan in Genesis's electric lineup for Europe, where the brand primarily focuses on crossovers, the Electrified G80 intensifies competition in the luxury car segment by combining long range, power, and high-end features.
