Tesla has introduced a new feature in the updated interface of its mobile app. To activate it, simply navigate to the "Safety & Drivers" section.

While the vehicle is in motion, the app automatically displays the name of the current driver to the owner. After the trip ends, the owner can also see who was the last person to use the car.

This option is supported by all Tesla models, regardless of their production year, including early generations of the S and X series. Each registered driver has a personal profile containing an individual set of preferences for seat position, steering wheel tilt, side mirror adjustments, cabin climate settings, favorite music tracks, and preferred navigation routes.

The new feature will be particularly useful for families and people sharing a household, where multiple individuals regularly use the same vehicle. By quickly identifying who is driving, there is no longer a need to manually adjust settings before each trip.
