AWE has introduced its new SwitchPath exhaust system for the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. The two-pipe setup features 3-inch valves and is crafted from T304L stainless steel, designed for a direct bolt-on installation using the factory mounting points.

The system incorporates a specially engineered X-pipe to reduce harshness, along with resonators that help smooth out the sound profile. It retains the factory valves, so all drive modes continue to function as intended.

With the valves closed, the exhaust note remains subdued and comfortable for daily driving. Open them up, however, and the sound becomes far more aggressive—especially in sportier driving modes. This setup helps unleash the potential of the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 under the hood.

According to the manufacturer, the SwitchPath system can deliver gains of up to 11 horsepower and 3 Nm at the wheels. It maintains the factory ground clearance and comes with four 4.5-inch exhaust tips.

Priced at $2,995, this kind of aftermarket upgrade remains popular among performance-car owners who want to enhance both sound and power without extensive modifications.
