Mercedes-AMG finishes winter testing for the new electric GT 4-Door Coupe in Sweden. Features AMG Race Engineer, three motors, and over 640 km range. Learn more.
Mercedes-AMG has wrapped up winter testing for the new electric GT 4-Door Coupe. Engineers conducted these trials on ice and snow in Northern Sweden, focusing on handling, traction, and power distribution.
This model will be the first fully electric vehicle developed by AMG. It features the AMG Race Engineer system, which allows drivers to customize the car's behavior through adjustable response, handling, and traction parameters. Three control dials inside the cabin manage these settings.
The car is equipped with three electric motors and the AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system. This setup enables independent torque distribution between the axles and rear wheels, providing precise control over the vehicle's dynamics—from stable driving to controlled drifting.
The AMG Active Ride Control suspension combines air suspension with active stabilization to enhance both handling and comfort. The braking system includes carbon-ceramic brakes at the front. The battery is designed for high performance and fast charging, even in low temperatures. Preliminary data suggests a range exceeding 640 km.
