OMODA 4: new compact crossover with hybrid and EV options
Discover the OMODA 4, a new compact crossover debuting in 2026 with a 1.6 T-GDI engine, hybrid, and electric versions. Priced around €20,000, it targets the B-SUV segment.
OMODA is preparing to unveil its new compact crossover, the OMODA 4. The model will make its debut at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, with European sales expected to begin by the end of that year or early 2027.
Positioned as the smallest SUV in the brand's lineup, the OMODA 4 features a refreshed design with split headlights. The daytime running lights are placed along the edge of the hood, while the main headlights are integrated into the front fascia. The front grille is large in format, with its upper section closed off.
Inside, the cabin adopts a minimalist style centered around a vertically oriented central display. OMODA aims to attract buyers in the B-SUV segment and compete with models like the Dacia Duster.
The model is expected to be available with a 1.6 T-GDI petrol engine producing 147 horsepower, along with hybrid and fully electric versions. The inclusion of an electric variant gives the OMODA 4 an edge over some rivals.
Preliminary pricing is set around €20,000. This positions the newcomer in the affordable crossover segment and, if hybrid versions materialize, the budget hybrid category. Overall, the OMODA 4 is poised to be a key debut at 2026 auto shows, strengthening the Chinese brand's presence in Europe.
