Hyundai launches Conversion+ platform for commercial vehicle partners
Hyundai's Conversion+ platform offers technical resources and support for body manufacturers to convert commercial vehicles globally, enhancing collaboration and sales.
Hyundai Motor has launched the Hyundai Conversion+ platform, offering body manufacturers and vehicle conversion partners comprehensive technical information and support across its entire commercial vehicle lineup. This includes everything from heavy-duty trucks to light commercial vehicles, aiming to foster growth and collaboration in the special-purpose vehicle market.
The global platform is designed to empower conversion partners worldwide through regional online portals. The "Plus" in its name highlights a focus on two-way communication and co-creating an integrated conversion ecosystem.
This move strengthens Hyundai's partner network and is expected to play a key role in expanding the company's commercial vehicle conversion business while boosting overall sales.
Initially rolled out in about 120 countries with support for 15 languages, the platform was developed based on a thorough needs analysis by regional teams in key markets. These include Africa and the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Eurasia, Europe, Korea, and Latin America.
To help partners convert vehicles effectively, Hyundai Conversion+ provides a wide range of technical resources and support channels. Technical materials feature an extensive library with reference guides, bodywork manuals, body blueprints, and frame modification drawings, with new content added as vehicles are launched. A technical hotline offers a centralized web channel linking regional Hyundai Motor headquarters, the global headquarters, and R&D centers for timely technical assistance and issue resolution. Optimized availability ensures a responsive web design that works seamlessly on both computers and mobile devices, supporting diverse working conditions.
