Lexus debuts the Karaoke LX SUV, a Wicked-themed one-off
At the New York premiere of Wicked, Lexus revealed the one-off Karaoke LX SUV with pink-emerald-gold styling and a soundtrack-loaded system for the film promo.
At the New York premiere of the film “Wicked: For Good,” Lexus unveiled a one-off version of the LX SUV created specifically to promote the movie. Dubbed the Karaoke LX and themed around Glinda and Elphaba, the vehicle stands out with unconventional finishes and carefully placed details that make it genuinely unique.

Exterior
The bodywork blends pink, emerald, and gold, complemented by signature emblems and gold-tone wheels. A license plate bearing the film’s title completes the look, and the palette clearly nods to the two leads without tipping into kitsch.
Interior
Inside, the same color scheme carries through, joined by green ambient lighting and special floor mats. The centerpiece is a sound system preloaded with tracks from the movie’s soundtrack, a playful touch that dovetails with the whole karaoke idea and makes the theme feel purposeful rather than superficial.
Lexus has not disclosed further plans for this unique LX, though it is expected to be used in the film’s promotional campaign. “Wicked: For Good” opens on November 21. As collaborations go, the project neatly shows how automakers can tap into cultural moments with creative, well-executed one-offs.
