The Geely robotaxi’s digital architecture and hardware package are designed to deliver Level 4 autonomy. This means that in most situations, the electronics can make driving decisions on their own. Still, the company plans to retain traditional controls for the self-driving vehicle. Officially, autonomous vehicles of this level do not yet have access to China’s public roads.
