Cadillac Escalade IQ wins: 205-kWh battery, 750 hp, 668 km range
Discover how the Cadillac Escalade IQ outshone rivals with a 205-kWh battery, 750 hp, 668 km range, 5–80% in 42 minutes, Magneride comfort, AWD, Super Cruise.
This win for the Cadillac Escalade IQ emerged from a crowded field of premium models, among them the Audi Q6/SQ6 e-tron, Honda Passport, Hyundai Ioniq 9, Hyundai Palisade, Porsche Macan Electric, and Volkswagen Tiguan.
One of the decisive factors was its 205-kWh battery, which unlocks performance of up to 750 horsepower. With this setup, the electric SUV delivers an estimated 668 kilometers on a single charge.
And when the charge does run low, getting back on the road doesn’t take long: the battery moves from 5% to 80% in about 42 minutes, a timeline that makes daily use—and longer trips—far less complicated.
Beyond the numbers, judges highlighted the Escalade IQ’s road manners. The Magneride active suspension keeps comfort intact across varying surfaces, while the all-wheel-drive system, noted for precise control, bolsters dynamics and confidence on tougher stretches. The Super Cruise driver-assistance system also earned praise for providing dependable automated control. What stands out is how composed the big EV feels over imperfect pavement, with the technology working quietly in the background to make its case.
