Genesis Canada Now Taking Pre-Orders for GV60 Magma Electric Performance Crossover
Genesis Canada opens pre-orders for the GV60 Magma, a high-performance EV with up to 641 hp. Production models expected later this year.
Genesis Canada has opened pre-orders for the GV60 Magma electric vehicle, calling it a significant milestone for the brand in the country. The GV60 is the first model to receive the high-performance Magma treatment, highlighting Canada's importance to the global expansion of Genesis Magma, the brand's performance division.
Before sales officially begin in Canada, the GV60 Magma toured the country, stopping at Genesis stores in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver. It then continued its journey, visiting Genesis dealers nationwide.
The GV60 Magma is expected to arrive in Canada later this year, with pricing announced closer to launch.
This high-performance crossover features front and rear motors delivering a combined 448 kW (601 hp) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque. In Boost mode, output increases to 478 kW and 790 Nm (641 hp and 583 lb-ft). The boost lasts up to 15 seconds, allowing the GV60 Magma to accelerate from zero to 200 km/h in just 10.9 seconds with Launch Control engaged. Top speed is 264 km/h.
