Caterham Seven Miami Special Edition: A Tribute to the F1 Grand Prix
Caterham unveils the Seven Miami Special Edition, a track-focused sports car limited to 12 units. With 210 hp and just 560 kg, it offers extreme performance for enthusiasts.
Caterham has unveiled an exclusive version of its legendary sports car, the Seven Miami Special Edition. The model celebrates the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami and is limited to just 12 units, 10 of which are destined for the U.S. market.
Based on the track-focused Seven R, the newcomer boasts not only extreme tuning but also a unique design. The body is finished in a distinctive Aqua color with pink and white accents, while the rear features a graphic of the Miami International Autodrome circuit.
Its core focus is pure track performance. The car comes with a roll cage, race suspension, a fire extinguisher system, and lightweight components. Weighing just 560 kg, it ranks among the lightest vehicles in its class.

Under the hood sits a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter Ford Duratec engine producing 210 hp. Thanks to the low curb weight, it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and hits a top speed of 219 km/h. The power-to-weight ratio stands at roughly 375 hp per tonne.
Each car features a numbered plaque and builder signatures, underscoring its collectible appeal. The price has not been officially disclosed, but it is clearly a niche product aimed at enthusiasts and track-day use.
In essence, the Seven Miami Special Edition is not just a special version—it's the essence of Caterham's philosophy: maximum emotion, minimum weight, and a relentless focus on handling.
