Chevrolet's Brazilian arm, General Motors Brazil, has officially confirmed that it now offers the widest SUV and crossover portfolio in the country. The range stretches from highly efficient gasoline-powered entry-level models all the way to the flagship Blazer EV, giving buyers a broader choice than ever before.

According to GM Brazil, the new Sonic slots in between the Onix Activ and the Tracker, rounding out a lineup that now includes ten distinct variants with different specifications and powertrains. Those ten models are the Onix Activ, Sonic, Tracker, Spin, Spark EUV, Captiva EV, Equinox, Equinox EV, TrailBlazer, and the Blazer EV. Together, they account for roughly 75 percent of the brand's local offerings, underscoring Chevrolet's strategic pivot toward higher-riding vehicles.

Interestingly, Chevrolet classifies both the Onix Activ hatchback and the Spin minivan as utility vehicles. Both feature a raised suspension setup with extra ground clearance—a unique proposition in their respective subcategories—along with plastic body cladding and functional roof rails. The overall lineup is split between six internal combustion models and four fully electric ones, giving customers a mix of traditional and electrified choices.
