GM’s South American arm has confirmed that the Chevrolet Sonic 2027 crossover will launch with the broadest array of genuine accessories in its class. The model opens up customization possibilities never before seen in the segment, targeting customers who care deeply about design and prefer a car that feels uniquely theirs.

Luis Felipe Teixeira, GM’s commercial director for accessories in South America, explained that one of the new Sonic’s conceptual innovations is treating accessories as a full-blown personalization platform. The record number of available items makes it possible to emphasize the vehicle’s sporty and high-tech personality in ways that match each owner’s tastes and requirements.

The dedicated accessory line for the 2027 Sonic includes over 70 pieces developed jointly with the manufacturer to preserve the original design’s proportions and visual language inside and out. All items are approved and technically vetted by GM engineers and do not affect the factory warranty. Compared with key competitors, this effectively doubles the personalization options on offer.

Standout accessories include an illuminated next-generation Chevrolet emblem on the grille, decorative moldings for the lower bumper and wheels, fender decals, and dual exhaust outlets that highlight the vehicle’s sporty character. The catalog also features trunk organizers, a tow hitch, functional interior trim, and ambient lighting featuring the Sonic logo.
