According to the latest data, 44 examples of the exclusive Ford Mustang GTD rolled off the Multimatic assembly line in April 2026. That number is virtually unchanged from the production figures seen in other months this year.

In January, 42 cars were built, followed by 40 in February. March matched April’s total with 44 units. In total, only 170 Mustang GTDs have been produced so far in 2026.

Ford recently confirmed that the Mustang GTD will remain in its sports car lineup for at least the next three years. Buyers of this roughly $300,000 machine must go through a lengthy ordering process, and after taking delivery, they are barred from reselling the car for two years.
