Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Night Edition and E 53 Hybrid Dark Carbon Edition Unveiled in Australia
Mercedes-Benz introduces two limited-edition E-Class models in Australia: the E 300 AMG Night Edition with black styling, and the E 53 Hybrid Dark Carbon Edition with carbon-fiber details and plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG have unveiled two limited-edition versions of the E-Class in Australia: the E 300 AMG Night Edition and the E 53 Hybrid Dark Carbon Edition. Both variants feature darkened design elements and special equipment.

The Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Night Edition gets Night Package elements with black trim, darkened sill plates, and, for the first time on the E 300, 21-inch AMG wheels in black with a polished surface. Inside, a 12.3-inch passenger display and a digital Edition badge are fitted.
The E 300's mechanicals remain unchanged. The sedan is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a mild-hybrid system and a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The Mercedes-AMG E 53 Hybrid Dark Carbon Edition comes with the AMG Night Package and Night Package II. Exterior distinctions include black wheels, mirror caps, badges, and grille elements. Also fitted are 21-inch forged AMG wheels.

Inside the E 53, a carbon-fiber center console is used. The plug-in hybrid powertrain produces 450 kW and 750 Nm. The claimed all-electric range under the NEDC cycle is 101 km. Among the new 2026 model year cars, these versions stand out with their limited production and dark design focus.
In Australia, the E 300 AMG Night Edition starts at 129,400 Australian dollars ($92,767), and the E 53 Hybrid Dark Carbon Edition at 206,900 Australian dollars ($148,327).
