Chevrolet is replacing the light blue interior trim used in the Equinox EV LT 2 trim with a new charcoal gray option for the 2027 model year.

Currently, both interior color schemes for the LT 2—black with blue accents and Sky Cool Grey—feature light blue trim on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. These colored accents visually set the LT 2 apart from more affordable trims in the Equinox EV lineup, giving it a stylish, premium feel.

For the 2027 model year, however, the LT 1 and LT 2 trims are expected to look more uniform. The light blue accents will give way to a more subdued charcoal gray.

The 2027 Equinox EV is the fourth model year of the all-electric compact crossover. It is available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations, with a range of over 510 km on a single charge. Production continues at GM's plant in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico.
