Great Wall Motor Ora 5 petrol SUV launches in Germany

Great Wall Motor is set to launch the new Ora 5 lineup in August 2026. The first variant to hit the market is an SUV powered by a petrol engine. In Germany, pricing starts at €26,990 and includes a seven-year warranty. Early buyers will receive a €2,000 discount.

The Ora 5 SUV is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 160 hp, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Fuel economy is rated at 6.9 L/100 km. The vehicle measures just under 4.5 meters in length.

Standard features include a 14.6-inch infotainment display, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera system with Transparent Chassis, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and cross-traffic alert.

Hybrid and all-electric versions will join the lineup in late autumn, delivering 223 hp and 204 hp, respectively. Later, the Ora 5 family will expand to include a hatchback and a station wagon. Among the new cars arriving in 2026, the model stands out for its competitive pricing, lengthy warranty, and the variety of powertrain options planned.
