Subaru introduces two new electric SUVs in Germany: the updated Solterra with 511 km range and the new Uncharted with up to 592 km range. Pricing starts at €45,990.

Subaru has officially launched two electric vehicles in Germany: an updated Solterra and a new compact SUV called Uncharted. The Solterra is a facelift of the model that debuted in summer 2022, while the Uncharted is an all-new electric SUV from the brand.

The 2026 model year Solterra gets a revised powertrain and battery. Two electric motors produce 343 hp, a gain of 125 hp over the previous version. A 73.1 kWh battery provides a WLTP range of up to 511 km. Fast charging from 10 to 80 percent takes less than 30 minutes. Prices in Germany start at €45,990.

The Uncharted sits on the e-Subaru Global Platform, co-developed with Toyota. It features a coupe-like roofline, a 404-liter trunk, and 211 mm of ground clearance. In all-wheel-drive form, two electric motors deliver 343 hp, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint of 5 seconds and a range of up to 495 km.

Front-wheel-drive versions are also offered: a 224 hp variant with a 77 kWh battery and a range of up to 592 km, as well as a base model with 167 hp, a 57.7 kWh battery, and a range of up to 451 km. With these new 2026 models, Subaru is betting on electric SUVs that combine practicality with off-road capability.
